Standards Instructors

Responsibilities of the Standards Instructor

Required for 2016/2017: Instructor Meet & Greet!

As we work towards greater consistency in all things related to standards, we are requiring all Standards Instructors to attend a “Virtual Meet & Greet” hosted by Abby Burbank, the Standards Training Specialist, prior to instructing any course. The session is a webinar format and will:
  • Review the updated training materials (new website screen shots and other changes)
  • Share where to find all the updated materials
  • Address the importance of following the curricula
  • Address concerns that have come up during the recent visit season

If you are scheduled to teach a standards course and have not yet completed a "Meet and Greet", please contact Abby (aburbank@ACAcamps.org) to set up a time for this conversation.
