What can we say when hundreds of volunteer
visitors give thousands of hours conducting
862 visits to camps that are seeking accreditation? Parents tell us that
they will send their child only to an ACA-accredited camp. A college
student says he or she wants to work full time at camp — but only at
an ACA-accredited camp. Only 2.4 percent of the camps fail accreditation, however,
many of those that fail stick with it and try again.
