ACA has two great opportunities for individuals and camp programs to be recognized for their outstanding contribution and talents: The 2024 ACA National Recognition Awards and the J. Wendell and Ruth T. Howe Golden Lens Awards photography contest.
ACA National Recognition Awards
The following national awards are will be presented at the 2024 ACA National Conference in New Orleans: the Distinguished Service Award, the Hedley S. Dimock Award, the Jack Weiner Award, the Honor Award, the Service Award, the Special Recognition Award, the Eleanor P. Eells Award for Program Excellence, and the Eleanor P. Eells Award for for Evaluation & Research.
The deadline for nominations is October 26, 2023.
2024 Golden Lens Contest
The J. Wendell and Ruth T. Howe Golden Lens Awards photography contest allows camps to submit outstanding photos that depict the camp experience and represent the best practices in the field and accreditation standards.
In additions to being recognized at the 2024 ACA National Conference, the Golden Lens winner will win a $200 cash prize and $500 ACA professional development gift card for first place.
Golden Lens Contest submissions are due by November 10, 2023.
