Audition Versus Interview: Casting the Role of Camp Counselor
PRESENTER: Jordan Richmond
This session will teach you several techniques from the eye of a Broadway Director which will help you transform your interview process into one that brings out true character, emotional response, and motivation from your applicants. Learn “Auditioning Skills” that will forever make your interviews a more dynamic character driven process.
- The participant will gain a base understanding of theatrical auditioning skills which will help foster a new approach to their interview process.
- Participants will exit the webinar with knowledge and techniques to bring about Character, Emotional response, and potential from their applicants.
- Participants will identify ways to interview outside of the box through a series of examples and group discussion.
Jordan Richmond has been involved in camping for over 27 years in various positions. He has held the role of Aquatics Director, Camp Director, Camp Consultant, Leadership Education Director, and much more. In addition he is an Outward Bound and National Outdoor Leadership School instructor. The founder of Hire Adventure LLC, he holds fifteen years of recruiting and training experience. He is a certified Life Coach and holds an MS in Creative Studies and Change Leadership. He serves on both the ACA and AEE National Conference Committees. He is also the former Director of Operations for Broadway in Chicago and works with several fortune 500 companies as a creativity consultant and leadership coach.
