Educator Course Package

Definition of an Educator: I work professionally as a faculty/staff member at an academic institution.

ACA's e-Institute is an online learning system designed for child and youth development audiences—from camp and recreation professionals to afterschool staff to community-based program leaders. The e-Institute provides a mechanism for personal professional development and for training large groups of people and facilitates learning via both self-directed courses and live meetings. Certificates are available for all courses, and CEUs are available for selected courses.

Faculty may find these courses extremely helpful as supplemental learning experiences for your students that allow you to focus more specifically and with more depth during your valuable classroom time. In some cases the courses may provide you with new material with which to revitalize your existing course syllabi or may be an easy way to reinforce current content.

To help faculty use the online courses in your classes, ACA has created a Special Package of courses available only to Educators! The ACA Educator Package costs $224, which is a 60% discount from the current prices! The Educator Package includes access to all of the following courses:

The purchase of the package allows you to access any/all of the course links and:

    • ability to have ACA enroll your students into these courses - you will need to provide us basic information related to each learner/student (Course access runs July 1 through June 30).
    • you have access to that course link during your academic year, expiring June 30.
    • your students can submit certificates of completion (or in some cases use the courses for CECs).

If you purchase the package of courses, you will receive the courses at a member price plus realize additional savings!

We believe we have a quality product that will be useful in your courses. Our goal is to share the content in as many educational settings and delivery modes as possible. We want the content to be shared with you and your students as a way to build their professional competencies, which will in turn improve the quality of the experiences provided to participants in many kinds of recreational experiences, including camps. If you have any questions, please contact Deb Bialeschki at dbialeschki@acacamps.org.
