ACA Basic Camp Director Course (ACA BCDC)

The ACA BCDC includes bacic content for 13 of the 14 Core Curriculum areas of a camp directors responsibility ( the former ACA Core Curriculum) within approximately four days; from 4 - 9pm on day one, 8:45 am - 9:00 pm each day; days two - day four) and 9:30 am - Noon on day five. All of the current ACA Core Competencies are included except Nature & Environment and Participant Observaion, Assessment & Evaluation. See description at www.acamidstates.org/bcdc.php While meal time and break time are not included in the contact hours valuable networking and sharing of ideas and resources plus problem solving take place during these non-content contact hours.
