Keynote Session with Raquel Karls
My Style, Your Style
Learn about your style and its strengths, skills and contributions as well as how to flex your style to improve communication with others.  Then we will discuss and learn how to apply it when recruiting, selecting, and training camp staff to create a strong and diverse team for your campers.

About Raquel
Raquel Karls is the Chief Human Resources Officer for Outerwall, the company that brings you Coinstar, Redbox and ecoATM.  First and foremost, though, Raquel is a former camper and camp staff, and now the proud mom of two boys who also attend camp! In fact, Raquel got her start in "management" at camp. Raquel attended Girl Scout camp as a child and, in college, joined the Camp Namanu staff outside of Portland, OR, working her way up from program staff to Assistant Camp Director. Since camp, Raquel has continued to develop her career at companies such as Pepsi, Starbucks, and Expedia. She credits much of her success as an HR professional to what she learned at camp - and now is excited to share some of what she has learned over the years with the camp community.
