We will be hosting our conference at the beautiful and reasonably priced Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, Tennessee.  This is about a 45 minute drive from Nashville.  Our keynote speakers will also offer workshops during the conference.  There will be a variety of educational workshops and evening programs along with plenty of networking opportunities with other camp professionals from throughout our region.  We are offering camp tours, standards training and associate visitor training in conjunction with this conference. 

Camp tours, all refreshment breaks and Friday's keynote lunch are included with conference registration.

Camp Tours begin on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. so arrive early! Check in starts at Noon! 

Standards Course is from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.  There is no charge for this course.  There is a separate registration for this course.

Steve's mission as a professional speaker is to provide fun, professional and inspiring presentations for all clients. Speaking and training in the primary fields of schools and summer camps, Steve's audiences range from summer camp staff and administrators to school faculty, students, athletes and parents.

Workshops

Workshops will be offered in many areas of benefit to camp and youth development professionals. Examples include youth development and behavior, staff training and leadership, business operations, emerging issues, tools and technology, innovative programs and activities.

We are still looking for workshop presenters! If accepted, you can attend the conference for half the regular registration fee! Submit a proposal by September 19th!

 "Night On The Town!"   

Join us for our annual fundraiser to support scholarships for ACA Heart of the South!

Enjoy a Night on the Town at Margaritaville in downtown Nashville. Evening includes transportation to restaurant, great food choices, networking and live music! Minimum donation is $40 per person.  Approximately half of that goes to our scholarship fund and is tax deductible! Or you can choose to donate a little more and purchase your ticket for $50, $75 or $100.  Name your price but sign up fast. Space is limited!  Indicate your preference when you register.

Please remember to reserve your accommodations at the park!

There are very reasonable rooms, suites and villas all convenient to the conference center.  Registration fees include 2 refreshment breaks on Thursday, November 8th and the keynote lunch on Friday, November 9th.  Other meals are available at the restaurant either from the buffet or menu of plated choices.  Three meals a day will cost about $30.00 depending on your choices. Villa/cabin groups can choose to cook meals in their kitchen areas. Be sure to reserve your space by October 1st!
