Criminal Background Checks Issues Group
The American Camp Association has created a public policy issues group centered around the topic of criminal background checks. This group is one of several online discussion groups currently available. Each group discusses (through e-mail) their specific area of interest. Participants also focus on tracking current and proposed legislation; anticipating potential issues that would affect the camp community; and making recommendations to the ACA Public Policy Committee regarding potential action.

ACA Business Partners Reduce Product Costs for Members

What does it take to provide a “world of good” for your campers? It takes campers, trained staff, a safe place, role models, physical activity, fun, group interaction, and it also takes operational resources to run an effective camp. ACA can help you get campers and staff, deals on insurance, payroll services, food, long distance, and more. ACA provides some services directly, and we also have partnerships with other service providers. These partnerships offer you a customized product or better prices or both.

But that's not the all you have to choose from, ACA's Buying Guide to Products and Services includes a complete listing of all ACA business affiliates.
