ACA to Survey Camps about Budget and Finance
Areas
The Camp Budget and
Finance Survey is on its way to your
mailbox. A random sample of half of all
accredited camps will receive a mailed
survey focused primarily on budget-finance
data. If you receive one, please take the
opportunity to fill it out and return it.
These data are extremely helpful in providing
benchmarks and specific profiles (i.e.,
camp type, sections, camp sponsorship,
and clientele) of the revenue and expenditure
side of the camp business. Your information
is critical to accurate trends and indicators
so please complete the survey! To learn

Camp Injury and Illness Data
Year three of the five-year Healthy
Camp Study—funded by Markel Insurance—is
now completed and analysis of the injury
and illness data from almost two hundred
camps across the U.S. has begun. Look
for more information about the year three
Healthy Camp Study results in
the upcoming months. Get more information
about ACA's efforts to monitor
injuries and illnesses in camps in order
to identify preventions strategies.
