ACA, Michigan Standards Training

The Standards Course is specifically designed to help prepare people who are NEW to the accreditation process for their accreditation visits and to serve as an introduction to the standards program for those interested in becoming accreditation visitors. The person completing the ACA Standards Course is expected to actively assist their camp in preparation for the accreditation visit, be on site a significant amount of time during the camp season, and participate fully in the on-site accreditation visit.

The Standards Update Course is designed for the director or staff member who has been actively involved in the preparation of materials and the on-site visit at an ACA-accredited camp in the recent past. The person completing the ACA Standards Update Course is expected to actively assist their camp in preparation for the accreditation visit, be on site a significant amount of time during the camp season, and participate fully in the visit.

The Visitor Update Course is designed for the standards visitor or associate standards visitor and prepares the visitor to conduct standards visits. This course is required for anyone who will conduct a standards visit in 2015.
