ACA is pleased to offer members exciting new Nature Rocks resources to support your efforts to provide meaningful experiences to children and families.

Nature Rocks is a national program to reach, inspire and empower millions of families to play and explore in nature. Drawing on research that indicates that activities in nature makes children and families happier, healthier and smarter, Nature Rocks is guided by Richard Louv- author of the best-seller Last Child in the Woods and has a growing list of national partners.

ACA became a partner as part of our 20/20 vision to engage 20 million children in the camp experience by the year 2020. In order to achieve this vision, which is founded on the importance of children developing an intimacy with nature, ACA and camps will need to reach out to parents and families across America. Nature Rocks is one important strategy in this effort. ACA's involvement in Nature Rocks is supported by Lilly Endowment Inc.

Through ACA's partnership in the Nature Rocks program we are able to offer you this customizable set of materials and new ways to reach more campers and parents. With Nature Rocks you can draw on a powerful marketing campaign, convey that you are participating in a nationally recognized program, connect parents to inspiring and easy to use tools they can use at home with friendly website and take-home materials, and more. As part of the program member camps are featured on www.NatureRocks.org and the materials are designed to meet your needs.

Just drop your logo into the template materials, add Nature Rocks to your existing communications, and become a part of the Nature Rocks initiative.
