National Environmental Education Week 2015

April 19, 2015

National Environmental Education (EE) Week is the nation's largest celebration of environmental education. It is held each spring around Earth Day and inspires environmental learning and stewardship among K-12 students. This year, EE Week looks at how science can help us better understand the natural world with the theme "Surrounded by Science", part of the continuing series on Greening STEM.

Since its inception in 2005, EE Week has reached hundreds of thousands of students and educators across the United States with non-biased, high-quality, environmental education materials grounded in accurate, timely, scientific information and tied to local, state and national learning standards.

EE Week works to celebrate all of the educators who are making a difference in the world of environmental education and STEM learning by providing them with the tools and resources they need to continue inspiring the next generation of lifelong environmental learners. Register for EE Week 2015 now to receive updates and to take full advantage of the benefits, including access to upcoming professional development opportunities, advance notice of Greening STEM toolkits and resources, partner deals and discounts, exciting contest eligibility and more!
