Richard Louv Announced as Keynote Speaker for the 2012 National Conference

ACA's 2012 National Conference in Atlanta will feature a keynote address by Richard Louv, author of The Nature Principle and Last Child in the Woods. Founding chairman of the Children & Nature Network, Louv is well-known for supporting the idea that "The future will belong to the nature-smart - those individuals, families, businesses, and political leaders who develop a deeper understanding of the transformative power of the natural world and who balance the virtual with the real. The more high-tech we become, the more nature we need." The address will take place on Wednesday, February 22 and will be followed by a special conference-within-a-conference focused on children, nature, and camps.
