Participate in an AED "Scavenger Hunt"

The Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation is sponsoring an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) “scavenger hunt” this summer to make sure everyone at camp knows where the AED is located and how to use it!

Participate by taking a picture of your campers after they have “found” the AED at camp and posting it to social media with #mycampAED, your camp name, state, and AED location.

AEDs save lives, and the Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation hopes that you not only have at least one, but that everyone knows where it is and how to use it! Be a part of the scavenger hunt, and show all current and potential camp families through your Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts how important camper safety is to you! Sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of sudden death in youth, and knowing the location of your camp AED is an important step you're taking to keep your campers and staff safe all summer. For more information, visit www.childrenscardiomyopathy.org.

Please participate, and help Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation to find an AED at a camp in every state in the country.
