Password Protected Areas on ACA's Web Site

Areas in which logging in is required:

  1. To purchase items from ACA's Bookstore
  2. To modify member, customer, or camp information (details)
  3. To access password-protected documents (see below)

Selected content on ACA's Web site is password protected. We have chosen to add these pages for the benefit of our members and volunteers.

(without leading zeros and without an "m" on the end)

- Was randomly generated by ACA in June 2002
- You may have already changed your password
- Type the password in all lowercase
- Don't enter spaces or punctuation

What is my membership number?

  • It is on your ACA membership card.
  • Use "Login Assistance" from the Bookstore home page.

What is my password?

  • It is printed on the letter that comes with your membership card.

How do I change my password?

    1. From the top right corner of the Bookstore home page, click on "Your Account"
    2. Login
    3. Click "Edit" in the "Contact & Logon Information" area

(Since the material is an ACA member benefit and not a ACA camp benefit, your ACA camp number will NOT work)

How do I login to ACA volunteer documents?

  • Any item with a red key is for volunteers of ACA only. The credentials to access these documents are now the same username and password as other areas's of ACA's Web site. Questions? Contact your section executive or president, or contact Roxanne Seger at ACA's national office, rseger@ACAcamps.org, 765-342-8456 ext. 510.
  • Usernames and passwords to access the Section Databases have NOT changed.
     

What is the difference between a member number and a camp number?

  • Each person who is a dues-paying member of ACA has their own member number. Also, each ACA camp has its own camp number. (Your ACA camp number will NOT work to access Camping Magazine or CampLine articles)

Why do I have to login more than once?

  • Since different areas on ACA's Web site are hosted on multiple servers and use different software, it is still true that you may have to login more than once if you access multiple areas in one visit.
