ACA Canoe Instructor Updates

For current ACA Canoe Instructors. Updates can occur at any point during your 4 year certification period (you don’t have to wait until the end). Updates are one of the requirements to extend your certification another 4 years! Updates are typically 1 day and an evening discussion. WILD GUYde Adventures- Camp Climbing Staff Training Seminars
May 30-31 at White Rocks near Carlisle, PA
June 3-4, 2013 at Hidden Rocks near Harrisonburg, VA
Designed to help your climbing staff come up to speed and lead with best practice. This is for camps that provide natural rock climbing/top-roping and/or rappelling on or off-site.
Cost is $150 for the first staff person from your camp, and $125 each for any additional staff members.

CHA Riding Instructor Certification Clinic
June 1-4, 2013
Valley Mill Camp, Germantown, MD
Become a certified riding instructor through an internationally recognized organization, CHA, Certified Horsemanship Association. www.cha-ahse.org
4 levels of instructor certification available plus assistant rating for those 16 – 17 years of age. English only clinic
The clinic consists of 4 full days including: written exam, riding evaluation, and daily assessment of teaching skills. Participants are evaluated on knowledge of subject and safety of group instruction.
Tuition: $700 includes 4 day clinic, reading materials/ manuals, and one year membership in CHA
