ACA 2013 National Conference and Exhibits
We would like to make you aware of a situation that has been brought to our attention. There are companies (Convention Housing Services, Global Housing, etc...) who have been contacting our exhibitors to assist with hotel reservations. They are disguising themselves as the American Camping Association (ACA) Housing Bureau or claiming to represent the Hyatt Regency Dallas. They may claim they can get better rates, that rooms are limited, or use other sales pitch methods. They are NOT the official housing bureau and are NOT affiliated with the ACA in any way.
If you receive a call from this or any company claiming to represent the ACA, be aware that this may be a scam and DO NOT MAKE THE RESERVATION. These companies are NOT affiliated with the ACA in any capacity.
Please make your reservations directly with the Hyatt Regency Dallas. You can make your reservation online at http://www.acacamps.org/conference/hotel [1], or by calling 888-421-1442. To receive the ACA negotiated rate, identify yourself with the American Camp Association.
If you have already made hotel reservations through Convention Housing Services, ACA is unable to guarantee the validity of the reservation. If you would like to cancel your reservations, please contact the hotel directly. Additionally, contact your credit card company and tell them NOT to pay any penalty if it is put through by Convention Housing Services.
