If you work with youth outdoors, take EPA's free, award-winning online sun safety certification program. The interactive training provides you with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to instill life-long sun-safe behaviors in the youth in your care. At the end of the training, you will be able to 1) identify the negative health effects of UV exposure; 2) understand what the UV Index is, and how to use it; 3) identify at least five ways to enjoy being outdoors without getting excess UV exposure; and 4) understand how to model sun-safe behavior for the children in your care.
