Each camp/program wishing to go through the ACA accreditation process must have at least one person from their camp/program who will be actively involved with the preparation of materials and on-site the day of the visit attend a Standards Course (new camps/new directors) or a Standards Update Course (director/staff from currently accredited camp who has helped with the preparation of materials and been actively involved in the on-site visit).
Standards Course
Who: Anyone interested in learning more in the ACA accreditation process and those preparing for an upcoming accreditation visit. This course is specifically designed for an individual who has not previously had responsibility for the preparation and implementation of the visit. This might be a camp/program going through the visit the first time OR a new director/administrator at a currently accredited camp.
