American Red Cross Lifeguarding Class

This nationally recognized program teaches participants the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to aauatic emergencies. Pre-­‐requisites: Must be at least 15 years old, and able to complete a standard swim test (Swim 300 yards continuously; tread water for 3 minutes and dive to 9 feet to retrieve object). $275.00 (WGDC staff will receive a discounted fee). Fee includes American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification, First Aid, and Professional CPR, American Red Cross Lifeguarding textbook, and CPR mask.
