Balancing the responsibilities of work and parenting can be a challenge, and these challenges can be even greater for people working in intensive settings such as summer camp. If you're finding it more challenging than ever to juggle the demands of your job and the rest of your life, you're not alone. This webinar is designed to offer tips and resources for parents with children of all ages who are trying to balance working at camp with raising their kids. In this webinar, participants will learn about resources and tips to help them improve their work-life balance, particularly during summer camp. Networking with other participants outside of the webinar will be facilitated.
Kim Betts has 26 years of camp experience as a camper, counselor, registrar, associate director, director of administration, and is now the Human Resources Manager at Cheley Colorado Camps. She grew up attending and working at Camp Horizons in Virginia and graduated from Mississippi State University. She and husband Kenny are parents to three young children: Brayden, Brinley and Bristol. Kim is a Standards Visitor and has served on the Local Council of Leaders for the Virginias section as well as the EPIC national committee.
