ACA Responds to EEOC Call for Comments on Criminal Background Checks and Hiring
The Equal Opportunity Employment Commission (EEOC) conducted a hearing on July 26, 2011 to examine the use of criminal background checks in hiring. It was an open hearing and representatives of the American Camp Association (ACA) attended. The Commission heard testimony both in support of and in opposition to employers using criminal background checks in their hiring and screening processes.
