The American Camp Association (ACA) is searching for a new Camping Magazine Editorial Advisory Committee (EAC) member. EAC members review current needs of camp professionals, help to develop the magazine's editorial direction, and conduct a review (with authors names removed) of feature-length manuscripts prior to publication. The EAC's recommendations are advisory only; final editorial decisions are made by the editor in chief with input from the committee, the national staff, and, when appropriate, national leadership.

Potential EAC members should possess skills in writing and/or editing and a thorough understanding of the camp profession either as a practitioner or in a related field such as research. The committee represents a cross-section of ACA membership, and ACA strives for diversity and a balance of gender, ethnicity, professional background, and geographic location, among other factors.

The term for EAC members runs for three years (with an option for a second term of the same duration).
