In its first campaign, the ACA was able to raise $25,000 to send 100 children to camp
ACA Southern California/Hawaii partners with local day and resident camps to send 100 low income children and youth to camp. In the inaugural year of the Everyone Goes to Camp Campership program ACA Southern California/Hawaii reached the goal of providing a camp experience to youth.
The Dunn Summer Programs, Camp Laurel, Camp Mariastella, The Oaks, Camp Scherman and Tumbleweed Day Camp- High Adventure Beach Club received camperships this season.
ACA would like to thank the many donors who made this opportunity possible. The Bank of America Charitable Foundation, Inc. provided ACA with a generous gift of $20,000 to kick this program off. ACA would like to thank the following people for making this campaign a success:
