PROGRAM
New Regulations for California Organized Camps:
All you need to know for Summer 2009

Training Objectives

  • Orient participants to the new regulations & what has changed
  • Provide specific education focused on:
    • §30704: Description of Operating Procedures
    • §30751: Background Investigations
    • Health Code §18897: Definition of Organized Camp
  • Bring regulatory and industry communities closer together with a shared understanding of the regulations and definitions
  • Summarize the resources available to help (ACA, BSA, CCCA, CDPH, WAIC, YMCA, etc.)

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Operators of CA Organized Camps NOT affiliated with a professional association, Affiliated Camp Directors, and Health Department Representatives. Please help us spread the word!
