What Makes OctoberWest Different?

You'll have many opportunities this season to sit in on informational presentations and lectures. But OctoberWest may be your only chance to be an ACTIVE PARTICIPANT - where YOU guide the conversations and YOU dictate the topics, ensuring that you leave with the tools you need to be successful in your position and you are inspired to start working toward an even better summer next year!  How You'll Learn.

Who Should Attend

OctoberWest is designed specifically for Camp Directors - those individuals who are responsible for designing, planning, managing and supervising camp programs and staff.  Remember - it takes a village to run a camp!  This is your chance to build yourself into a community that can support you, your camp and the youth that you serve.

What People Are Saying About OctoberWest

"It was great to bring my challenges to a group of my peers and learn not just from a professional in a particular area, but from the experiences and ideas that camp professionals have implemented."
~ Danny Sudman, Catalina Island Camps

"I enjoyed and definitely benefited from the intimate discussion based forums.  I was able to walk away with a deeper understanding of many topics and I have a reference to go back to in the people I met at the conference.  Thanks for a wonderful experience."
~ Natalie Chudacoff, Camp Mountain Chai

"This was a wonderful conference.  I got a lot out of it and enjoyed the benefits of being around other camp professionals, both personally and professionally!"
~ Sloan Hamilton, Loch Leven Christian Camp & Conference Center
