Sunday, September 21, 2014 - Historic Tour of Savannah!
Join us as we get a private trolley tour through the Historic, Victorian and Colonial Districts of Savannah! Cost includes a 90 minute tour starting at our Hotel, Hilton Desoto and ending at Ellis Square. Tour departs the Hilton DeSoto at 10:00am. All guests have on and off privileges until 5:00pm to hop back on and check out more of what Savannah has to offer! **Minimum of 10 people to run tour** Registration Fee - $25.00. Lunch expenses are the responsibility of the participant
Monday, September 22, 2014 - Full Standards Course
8:30am - 2:30pm
We love Standards and the Accreditation Process in the Southeast! ACA's Standards course serves as an introduction to ACA's Standards Program and helps participants prepare for accreditation visits. The course describes the purpose and value of standards and accreditation, and gives an explanation of how the process works and what resources and materials are available. The course offers specific discussion about the requirements of the standards, including: application of the core and specialized activity standards, mandatory standards, and written documentation requirements. There is NO COST to attend this course, however particiapnts must register ahead of time to attend. Box Lunch Provided.
Monday, September 22, 2014- Standards Update Course
Offered to help prepare camp executives/directors/owners and visitor personnel already familiar with ACA Standards Program with information and training on the newly revised camp standards. This course is appropriate for camp directors/administrators/owners who are "experienced" in the ACA accreditation process – have completed the 2012 Standards Update Course and assisted a camp through an accreditation visit. Those attending will have been through the accreditation process, either as a director or visitor.
