We love Standards and the Accreditation Process in the Southeast! ACA's Standards course serves as an introduction to ACA's Standards Program and helps participants prepare for accreditation visits. The course describes the purpose and value of standards and accreditation, and gives an explanation of how the process works and what resources and materials are available. The full standards course is designed for the individual who is NEW to the accreditation process and is required of anyone going through accreditation for the first time. The course offers specific discussion about the requirements of the standards, including: application of the core and specialized activity standards, mandatory standards, and written documentation requirements. There is NO COST to attend this course, however participants must register ahead of time to attend. Box Lunch Provided.

1+1=3(?): Building a Highly Effective Team; Josh Sweat, Camp Twin Lakes
Ever had a not so highly performing team? What does it take to get there? How do you create a culture of going above the call of duty (or what we say "giving every camper all we have")? After one not so stellar summer, we asked ourselves these questions. Come explore with us and hear stories of how we and others have built highly functioning teams from recruitment to training and beyond.
