Red Cross First Aid and CPR
June 7 8am – 4:30pm | Camp Low Country, Cordesville, SC
Cost: $18.00
This training is required for any troop to leave their regular meeting time and location. Training will be done in the Dining Hall at Camp Low Country. Lunch is included in the cost of training and overnight accommodations will be available at an additional fee. Camp Low Country is located just off of Highway 402 in Cordesville, South Carolina, approximately 35 miles west of Charleston. |
Wilderness First Aid:
An eighteen-hour class over two days. The course includes classroom study, hands-on practice, and results in a two-year certification. Course fee is $200. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. For additional information phone (703) 836-8905 or visit http://wfa.net/aca.shtml.

Landmark Learning Courses
EMT Intensive
When: May 26 – June 14 or July 14 – August 20
Where: Landmark Learning, Cullowhee, NC
This intensive, three week EMT-Basic course, taught by lecture, hands-on skills progressions and real life scenarios, is a great way to complete the 172-hour curriculum the State of North Carolina requires to become an Emergency Medical Technician.
Relief Medic
Where: Ecuador

This course is designed for people who are interested in emergency care where advanced hospital equipment and supplies are absent and where disease and traumatic injuries are specific to third world conditions.
WMI of NOLS Wilderness First Aid
Fast paced and hands-on, this two or three-day course covers a wide range of wilderness medicine topics for people who travel and work in the outdoors. We have a complete listing of courses throughout the year.
WMI of NOLS Wilderness First Responder
When: May 10 – 18, July 5 – 13, or December 13 – 21
Where: Landmark Learning Campus, Cullowhee, NC
This course consists of 80 hours of curriculum designed specifically to provide you with the tools to make critical medical and evacuation decisions in remote locations.
WMI of NOLS WFR Recertification
When: May 19 – 21
Where: Landmark Learning Campus, Cullowhee, NC
This three day scenario-based course is designed as review and practice of evacuation and decision making guidelines and may be used to recertify Wilderness First Responder and Wilderness EMT (wilderness portion only) certifications.
AHA Heartsaver CPR
Adult CPR includes training in Rescue Breathing, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and relieving Foreign Body Airway Obstructions for individuals who will be working primarily with people ages 8 years old and up.
