Internship Program
Florida
We are holding 8 weeks of Summer Day Camp with an additional time of training and wrap-up. Our program runs from May 28th till August 10th. We serve K-5th grade students that come from low-income homes. Our program runs Monday thru Friday from 8:30-5:00 PM with weekends and evenings off. It is a paid internship of a $2,000 stipend and 1 meal a day being provided. If your students need housing, we would make arrangements for that need as well.
We work with the United Methodist Conference in Florida as part of the internship program. We are 1 of 4 sites that interns are placed at for the Summer. All the organizations that are host sites are Christian or interfaith.
This is a great program for those who are interested in being teachers, working with children in recreation, and going into any type of ministry. I am looking for 16 total students, male or female.
The link below shows all the guidelines and the application process to be part of our summer program.
Log onto the website, submit the application and somewhere on the application put CROS…so they know you are planning on coming here.
