Canoe Instructor Certification Course Levels 1 – 4 offered in one course!

This is a 4-year professional certification.

ACA, Mid-Atlantic Camp Conference 2017

The Mid-Atlantic Camp Conference will feature Bob Ditter, Blake Sunshine, and two full days of educational and networking opportunities. Come connect with other camp professionals, share lessons learned from last summer and kick off planning for this summer. Sessions will be offered on a wide range of topics including business development, program/process improvement, and staff management.

ACA, Chesapeake Winter Training Event

ACA, Chesapeake will host the Winter Training Event on February 24, 2016. Featuring breakout sessions tailored toward your specific professional development needs, the event will provide you with ideas that you can implement at your camp for the 2016 summer season. The Chesapeake Winter Training Event is held at beautiful YMCA Camp Letts.

Basic Standards Course - ACA, Chesapeake

The ACA Standards Course is specifically designed to help prepare people who are NEW to the accreditation process for their accreditation visits, and to serve as an introduction to the standards program for those interested in becoming accreditation visitors. The camp may or may not be currently accredited. A person completing the ACA Standards Course on behalf of a camp is expected to actively assist the camp in preparation for the accreditation visit, be on site a significant amount of time during the camp season, and participate fully in the on-site accreditation visit.
