The North American Maintenance Conference: March22-24

The conference is hosted at Camp Chingachgook, a year-round retreat center, children’s summer camp, and school outdoor education center. Instructors come from national associations and are recognized experts in construction and property management. Camp Chingachgook is a branch of the Capital District YMCA.

Basic Standards Course – ACA, New York & New Jersey

The purpose of the ACA Standards Course is to prepare camp directors and administrators for their accreditation visits and to serve as an introduction to the standards program for those interested in becoming accreditation visitors.

The person completing the ACA Standards Course is expected to actively assist the camp in preparation for the accreditation visit and to participate fully in the on-site visit. ACA membership is NOT a prerequisite for this course.

Standards Update Course – ACA, New York & New Jersey

The Standards Update Training is for camp directors and/or other camp representatives who are familiar with the accreditation process. The person completing the course is expected to assist the camp in preparation for the accreditation visit and participate in the on-site visit. Due to revisions to the standards ALL CAMPS must attend a standards course or standards update before their accreditation visit in 2016.
