*PROGRAM COORDINATOR - VIRGINIA
Camp Friendship – VA is seeking a dynamic, energetic, career minded camp professional for year-round, full time position. Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years administrative experience in a residential camp setting required, in addition to experience in program delivery/camp counselor. Excellent leadership, problem solving, emotional maturity, and organizational skills required, as well as experience and strength in the supervision of the work of others. Strong computer skills, a clean driving record, and background check required. Capacity to become certified/qualified in program areas such as lifeguarding, ropes course, etc. desired. CAMP DIRECTOR - VIRGINIA
Job Summary: The Camp Director will ensure that the program is consistent with the organization’s mission directing the day-to- day operations of the camp. Must be proven and confident leader and director, an individual with a reputation for excellence, integrity, fairness and with the proven ability to implement innovative programs. Must be able to implement the necessary protocols mandated by the American Camping Association and the Red Cross. BA Degree preferably in education, outdoor education, recreation or a related field and 7-plus years, experience in the area of program management, communication, program planning and management, fiscal control, public relations, financial development, group work, recruitment, training, and evaluation of student volunteers and staff.
