FACT: This is where YP is booming! We are just now starting to build the connections and routines and methods with the section. So, if you are doing great things in your section, please let us know or post the information to the YP Blog.
Unbelievable. Amazing. Overwhelming. That's how we describe the work going on in the sections around ACA for YP.
At conferences around the country (National, Mid-States, Camp West, and more!) the YPs were making their presence felt.
How does the National YP Initiative fit in?
As a National Initiative, the YP Committee depends on the local work of sections and section representatives to make the real face-to-face connections. (See Project Teams for more information on National efforts.)
FACT: We are just starting these relationships and systems - they are currently developing.
The Section Representatives are listed below to the best of our knowledge. At times these contacts change. If you believe there is an error, please let us know.

Here is Toni Davison's Opening Letter to the YP Reps
YP Section Liaisons:
Thank you all so much for volunteering to be Section Liaisons for your ACA Section. One of my responsibilities is to communicate with all of the Section Liaisons, so I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you and further clarify the responsibilities of the liaisons.
I know you have been waiting to hear what being a Section Liaison means. We have some ideas of what it means for us, and we would love to hear if you have any other ideas to define the role:
1) Keep an open ear about section happenings with regards to YPs or YP Opportunities.
2) Communicate with your section leadership & other YPs in your section regarding programs and opportunities that the National YP Committee and Task Forces are offering.
3) Talk to your section leadership to figure out how they would like to interact with YPs as each section is handling it differently.
4) Help organize YPs as needed.
5) Be an Unofficial Social Chair for the YPs in your section.
6) Help promote ACA Events to other YPs in your section and help recruit unaffiliated YPs to join ACA.
There is already some fabulous momentum revolving around YPs in different sections all across the country. NY has an amazing YP group involved in EPIC, IL has an active group of YPs who meet monthly and have worked hard planning events for the National Conference, and Southern California has an awesome group of YPs who do a lot of group education sessions. We want to be able to utilize all of our programs and skills all across the board throughout all the sections. I will be facilitating the "Information Sharing" amongst all of us!
An email will go out to the entire YP population giving them an update on the status of the Young Professional Group, and we would like to list you as the Section Liaison. Please get back to us and let us know that you are still interested in taking on this task.
I look forward to hearing from you, and welcome aboard!
Toni Davison
