The 2021 California and Hawaii Critical Issues Seminar will feature educational sessions, roundtable discussions and networking socials spanning three days.  The virtual delivery of this year’s conference increases the benefits of convenience, safety and value.  This combined event hosted by ACA, Northern California and ACA, Southern California/Hawaii will provide great networking and timely information.  We will share practical solutions around modifications to programs in the time of COVID-19 with lessons learned from last summer to help you prepare for next summer.  We will explore the most relevant topics facing camp operators: California and Hawaii laws and regulations, training staff virtually, increasing diversity, equity and inclusion and sharing the resources to keep camp safe and open for business.

Due to the economic challenges facing many camps as a result of the pandemic, ACA, Northern California and ACA, Southern California/Hawaii Reserve Funds have been made available so that we can offer a subsidized rate.  If you require financial assistance in order to attend the California and Hawaii Critical Issues Seminar, please complete the scholarship application below.

Applications are being accepted through Thursday, January 7, 2021 and will be reviewed by a group appointed by the Local Council of Leaders.

Applicants can direct any questions about the Scholarship Application Process to John Beitner
