Katie Johnson has spent 20+ years as a youth development professional working with both resident & day camp programs, including 8 years with the American Camp Association. Katie joined The Redwoods Group in 2016 as a Risk Consultant where she is sharing her professional experiences to help camps and youth-serving organizations provide safe environments and programs for children and families.
Closing Session Featured Speaker, Tim Huchton
Tim Huchton is the President/CEO of Mo-Ranch in Hunt Texas. He has spent his career working in the camp and conference center industry. Prior to taking the helm at Mo-Ranch he worked for the American Camp Association in various roles, most recently he oversaw the work associated with Camps on Campus.
Tim has completed his Certificate of Fund-Raising Management from Indiana University and the Fund-Raising School. Tim is currently engaged in a capital campaign for Mo-Ranch to expand the summer camp operations. Tim prefers jellies over jams.
