Medical Camping Track

Through the generosity of The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, ACA is able to offer a track for camp professionals working with medical camp programs.  These camp programs serve children and families living with serious and chronic illness.  Nine educational breakouts will be offered throughout the conference. Although these sessions are targeted to those working with medical camp programs, all attendees are welcome.

Who Should Attend? ALL are Welcome!

Sessions are being designed with the following camp professionals in mind:

  • Those working with medically focused programs and camps
  • Those working in general camps who want to learn more about caring for campers with serious and chronic illnesses
  • Those hosting groups serving campers with serious and chronic illnesses

Breakout Sessions and Informal Café Discussion Topics

Details about breakout sessions including day, time, session titles, descriptions and speakers are available.  Additionally, we encourage you to participate in the Informal Discussion Café, which will take place on Thursday morning, February 23, at 7 a.m.  Discussion topics are listed on the program.
