Resources for Camp Directors - Mumps

Washington state has been experiencing a mumps outbreak since October 2016. The outbreak is slowing but ongoing, and people are most at risk during large gatherings, where the virus can pass more easily. Summer camps and activities are such a venue. Therefore, the Washington State Department of Health has produced a letter to camp directors covering what to do about the mumps outbreak, how to protect their campers, and advising vaccination against mumps for both campers and staff. It comes along with a template the camp directors may use for a letter to parents/guardians.
