Awesome Icebreakers and Energizers

This high-energy, hands-on workshop will teach participants how to play some of the industry’s best icebreakers.  Kick off day one with some fun!  Ice breakers and energizers need not be just fillers or boredom-breakers; when used effectively, they too can be directly tied to leadership objectives and markedly advance the transfer of learning to the real world. 
 
Medication Management:  Who Is Handing It Out?

Medication management continues to be an issue and challenge for many camps across the country – even during the summer of 2018.   This session will walk through the many considerations related to how you facilitate medication management at your camp and steps you might take to improve the safety of your practice.
 
The Rise of Narcissism

We hear the word narcissism thrown around a lot in regards to Millennials; also called Generation Me...but what is it really?  Is it as bad as people say?  How does it impact campers, counselors, and even parents?  In this session we'll investigate the rise of self and why many of our campers and staff struggle to develop and maintain intimate relationships of every kind, and what camp can do about it. 
 
Effective Debriefing Tools and Techniques

Are you good at the games but not so good at the debrief?  Do you ask questions and get blank stares from your participants? This workshop will focus on 10 effective debriefing tools and techniques that are simple and easy to use. We will break each technique down and demonstrate different games or activities teaching the concept.  These techniques for processing are sure to liven up your debriefing circles.
 
FUNdraising : In The Zone!

Tips & Tricks from a pro!   Fundraising can be easy and fun.   All it takes is a dose of perspective and a little patience!   Come learn some skills to help raise the money needed for your next project or program!  Session is interactive, so come prepared to learn by doing!

When attempting to find and select a quality healthcare provider, many people wonder what type of individual would best serve in the role.  This session will outline important characteristics of a safe and qualified healthcare provider for different camps and their operations.  We will examine the many aspects of the healthcare provider role and encourage participants to consider what type of individual is the best fit for their camp.
