The Association of Camp Nursing is now the Alliance for Camp Health (ACH).

The new name and vision reflect the organization’s full scope of work. For 25 years, ACN has been working to promote healthy camp communities. ACH serves individuals who are invested in camp health and wellness — not only camp nurses, but also health care providers, camp directors, camp leaders, mental health professionals, and behavioral health supporters.  ACH expands its ability to connect with individuals who need education and support to promote health and wellbeing for all through camp.

ACH aims to work in partnership with many organizations, camps, and individuals as a foundational educational source that promotes physical, mental, emotional, and social health.

"Now is the time for the Alliance for Camp Health to stand and provide a robust health and wellness agenda that can undergird all organizations serving youth and adolescents, said ACH Executive Director Tracey Gaslin, PhD, CRNI, CPNP, FNP-BC. "We know the value of camp and through these progressive efforts, ACH will be able to meet a broad range of needs, collaborate with diverse youth serving organizations, and empower camp leaders to create life-changing experiences for those in our care."
