ACA New Standards Instructor Course

When:
Thursday, December 7 (2 pm start), through Saturday, December 9, 2017 (noon finish)

Where: 
Briarwood Retreat and Conference Center in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area

This location offers great amenities for the New Instructor course, which include good proximity to Dallas - Fort Worth airport  (DFW) or Dallas Love Field (served by Southwest Airlines), ability to serve a variety of dietary needs, wireless internet access, nice meeting rooms, hotel-style sleeping rooms, and a peaceful setting.  We will be in the Quail Run facility.

Cost:  
Cost for this training is covered by the Field/Affiliate Office of the Instructor Candidate. The fee includes: Room (double occupancy, two nights), all meals/snacks, and all training materials.  SEE BELOW FOR TRAVEL INFORMATION!

Participants are responsible for making travel arrangements to/from the airport (to be reimbursed by ACA).  We anticipate shuttle arrangements from the airport (DFW and hopefully Love Field) to the training site will be available. Should you want a rental car, that cost will be incurred by the individual (not ACA).

Minimum participants: 
Ten (10) - IMPORTANT TRAVEL NOTE: Travel arrangements should not be made until participants are notified that the minimum number has been reached. If the minimum is not reached by the registration deadline of November 1, the course will be cancelled.

How: 
Complete the application and submit to local standards chair or appropriate staff member for endorsement/signature. The local Standards Chair or staff member must submit the application to the ACA, Inc. Accreditation Department no later than November 1, 2017.  No applications will be accepted or processed without proper endorsement.  Upon receipt of endorsed application, additional course/travel information will be sent. 

Registration deadline: 
Application must be in the ACA, Inc. office no later than end of day November 1, 2017.
