During the summer the Camps operate two traditional overnight camps, housing a total of 650 campers and staff. In the non-summer months Camp Burgess serves as an outdoor education and retreat center, providing team building programs to schools and universities. We are looking for a key team member to assist our Food Service Director in all facets of food service operations, including cooking, menu planning, inventory, as well as training our seasonal food service staff. This staff member will also manage our Retreats program for our weekend rental groups during the fall/winter/spring, where we welcome a diverse variety of schools, clubs, and mission-based specialty camp programs to our facility. This person is responsible for every part of a weekend rental group’s experience, from assisting them through the booking process to ensuring they have an excellent experience during their stay.
