Camp Cheerio is an overnight YMCA summer camp located in the mountains of northwest North Carolina serving 350 campers a week for an 11 week summer. The Program Director is primarily responsible for the direction and coordination of daily activity programming. Depending on qualification and experience this may include overall supervision of climbing and adventure elements and/or the pool and aquatic activity areas. The Program Director will also be responsible for the supervision of the summer seasonal program directors as well as the scheduling of camper activities and summer staff. OUTDOOR AND ADVENTURE FACILITATOR - WASHINGTON

Camp Koinonia is actively seeking our 2025-2026 environmental and adventure facilitators! This job offers a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in camp programming or environmental education. Koinonia’s beautiful 111-acre camp serves groups year-round for outdoor education school groups, retreat groups, and conferences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with people, camping and a willingness to learn new skills. Some responsibilities include the instruction of environmental education activities (like water ecology, animal and plant ecology, orienteering), leading an Escape Room adventure, boating, archery, archery tag, slingshots, mountain biking, hiking, campfires, skits, etc., for school and community groups. Acting as host for school/conference groups (no direct overnight supervision responsibilities). While programming is a focus for this position staff may also choose to support kitchen and housekeeping staff. On-site housing and meals are included as part of this position.
