PROGRAM COORDINATOR - ARIZONA

Program Coordinator/Camp Host coordinates provides programs and guest services at either one of our camps. This position’s main objective is to keep the camp focused on the mission of Camp Tontozona (i.e., programming, group communication, and overall program staff culture). Camp Lakewood is also attached to Trout Lodge YMCA, which is set up like a family resort. Camp Lakewood is looking for candidates to join our team who are enthusiastic to teach our students about ecology, science, history, and leadership. As an OE specialist you will be teaching classes to middle school students at our residential Outdoor Education Camp. This is a 5 day a week position, with 2-4 evenings of programming a week. Meals are off. No Kitchen or dish cleaning is normally part of duty. Qualified candidates should be a college graduate or student with coursework/experience in a relevant field (Education, Camp, Recreation, Environmental Education, Ecology, Geology, History).
