ACA Southern California/Hawaii Standards Courses

The standards program has been newly revised for 2012. All Southern CA camps seeking accreditation in 2012 will need to complete a standards course in-person. The course will:

  • Explain the process
  • Describe the requirements for accredtation
  • Introduce staff to new resources and tools available 

At the time of the accreditation visit, an individual must be on the camp site who has completed the standars course and has participated in the developmnet of materials for the visit. Camps that are currently accredited and seeking accreditation in 2012, as well as current new camps seeking 2012 accreditation will recieve one (1) copy of the 2012 Accreditation Process Guide (APG) at the course.

There is NO FEE to attend a Standards Course. There is no limit to the amount of people frm your camp who can attend. Just be sure to register all who will be attneding.
