Suncoast Youth Conservation Center– Kayak, Fish or Explore with FYCCN!

Enjoy a paddle along the Noonan Branch Creek Paddling Trail. We will paddle through mangrove tunnels and over the mudflats with sting rays, snook and red fish.  Spot wading birds and soaring ospreys searching for their next meal. This kayak trail around the newly created Florida Conservation and Technology Center in Apollo beach is a perfect afternoon spent outdoors.

Don’t want to paddle? Choose to walk to the 50ft observation tower for a bird’s eye view of the site (boardwal hike 1 mile each way).

And for you fishing enthusiasts, our site is inshore saltwater fishing at its finest. Test your meddle against a common snook or reddrum, two of South Florida’s most popular sport fish. Who knows what else you might catch or spot swimming or flying by. The FWC-FYCCN will supply the equipment and any instruction needed so you can enjoy the fun.

If you choose not to stay for activities, several guests may return to the hotel early, but the planned return time for those that enjoy the activities is 4:00pm.

Bring your towel and make sure you wear comfortable shoes and sunscreen.

This is a no-cost event but R.S.V.P required
