Dr. Nick Fuhrman

Dr. Fuhrman is an Associate Professor in the Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication Department in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at the University of Georgia.  Also known as “Ranger Nick,” Dr. Fuhrman's professional background is in environmental education.  At the University of Georgia, Dr. Fuhrman is a Program Evaluation Specialist and works with Extension professionals in the evaluation of their programs. He also enjoys teaching courses in Program Development and Program Evaluation as well as mentoring students.  He worked as an Environmental Interpreter and Naturalist for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources for seven years using injured, non-releasable birds of prey and reptiles as teaching tools in outreach presentations throughout the mid Atlantic.
