Social Media Marketing

This discussion of social media marketing will seek to give real-world advice on creating or growing a social media presence for your camp. Depending on participants' experience with social media marketing, topics may include considering which platforms to focus on, how to identify and target specific audiences, getting the most out of paid advertising, and developing policies and procedures to make sure your social media reflects your mission and values.


With Nick Kneer

Nick is the strategic communications coordinator for Miami University Libraries, where he is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy for the division. Prior to that, he led the social media strategy for Countryside YMCA. He has also worked as a professional photographer and videographer for more than a decade. A strong supporter of the camp experience, Nick spent a summer after college as a counselor at Akron Rotary Camp and currently spends his summers living at YMCA Camp Kern with his wife, Melissa (their Summer Camp Director) and their toddler twins.
