Ask Me Anything: Accreditation Bridging - 2/9/2021

Currently accredited camps using the Accreditation Process Guide (APG) v.2012 will have the opportunity to bridge to the Accreditation Process Guide (APG) v.11/2019 standards by 2022. Bridging will not affect camps visited in 2019 or change a camp’s next expected visit. 

To help support bridging camps with guidance and resources, ACA is offering an exclusive opportunity to connect with a panel of trained accreditation volunteers and experts including Standards Instructors, local Standards Chairs, and ACA Visitors for a virtual face-to-face Q&A session called Ask Me Anything (AMA). This is your opportunity to ask any and all burning questions you may have around the bridging process and requirements - all questions are welcome!

Intended Audience: Individuals from camps who are still currently using the Accreditation Process Guide v. 2012 and whose last on-site visit happened prior to 2019 and are interested in bridging their camp onto using the Accreditation Process Guide (APG) v.11/2019. If you do not already have a copy of the Accreditation Process Guide (APG) v.11/2019, accessing the digital APG on the Accreditation Portal is strongly recommended.

Important Access Information: Sessions will take place on Zoom—register for one session or the entire series. Participants are strongly encouraged to have audio/camera ability enabled to engage in sessions fully. Access login directions will be sent the day before the session to all registrants.
