WHY RISK MANAGEMENT TRAINING?

You can step forward in the industry by actively managing the risks to your participants, staff, and organization. Risk management planning is critical for anyone taking people into remote environments.

In the two-day NOLS Risk Management Training, you will build a prioritized action plan to improve your organization's risk management practices. You will identify strengths and areas for growth and learn a framework for designing risk management systems that meet the unique needs of your camp program.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

If you oversee a program that takes people off the beaten path, you are a good candidate for this course. The RMT is excellent training for directors, administrators, and facilitators of camp programs.

  • Analyze your approach to risk oversight, curriculum, staff hiring and training, field support services, and emergency planning.
